GPSRHub exists because the EU's General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR, Regulation (EU) 2023/988) became enforceable on 13 December 2024, and the compliance industry built for it was never designed for small sellers.
GPSR applies to anyone placing consumer products on the EU market, including a jewellery maker in Manchester or a candle studio in Ohio selling through Etsy or Amazon. It demands things small sellers have never had to produce before: a Technical File and risk assessment for every product, a Declaration of Conformity, and an EU-based Responsible Person named on listings and labels.
Traditional compliance consultants charge £800–£2,000 per product and speak the language of B2B supply chains. Generic template packs are cheap but routinely fail marketplace review because they don't reference the EN standards and REACH Annex XVII entries a category actually requires, and they can't provide an EU Responsible Person at all. The result: small sellers either pay disproportionate fees, gamble on templates, or quietly stop selling to the EU.
One annual subscription that covers every pillar of GPSR compliance for marketplace sellers:
We currently support Jewellery & Accessories, Clothing & Apparel, and Home Decor, with more categories on the roadmap. The first intake is a founding member cohort limited to 50 sellers, so every early customer gets a properly handled setup.
We publish plain-English guides to EU product rules on our blog, and our free compliance checker tells you where you stand in about two minutes, with no payment and no obligation. When we don't support your product category yet, we say so before you pay, not after.
GPSRHub is built and run by its founder, Leban Abdi Mohamed, who also writes the guides on the blog. Emails to hello@ go to the person building the product, not a support queue.
GPSRHub is a trading name of GEEL VENTURES LTD, a company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 17186037), registered office 21 Wellington Row, Whitehaven, CA28 7HE, United Kingdom.
